Capturing the Intensity of the Open Sea

Develop a visually striking campaign that conveys the raw intensity of competitive tuna fishing, ensuring a unified brand presence across promotional materials. Created dynamic key art, collaborating with producers, marketing teams, and motion graphics designers to ensure brand consistency across streaming, social, email, and press materials.

Wicked Tuna follows a group of seasoned fishermen from Gloucester, Massachusetts, as they battle the elements and fierce competition to catch prized bluefin tuna using traditional rod-and-reel fishing. For this season’s key art, my goal was to visually capture the intensity and difficulty of tuna fishing, immersing viewers in the high-stakes action.
Using Photoshop, I transformed a still image from the show, enhancing it with splashing ocean effects and the tension of the fishing rod to create a dynamic, high-energy composition. The finalized key art became the foundation of a broader marketing campaign, ensuring a consistent and compelling visual identity across streaming platforms, social media, email campaigns, and press mailers.
